What Do Youthink! About Health?

"lpryadko," 15, Ukraine

"The issue of the health care is important in countries all over the world. I'm currently an exchange student in the USA. Before coming here, I thought that good medical care was hard to receive unless you have money in my country. Now i see that the states have the same issue - a huge amount of americans don't have medical insurance and don't go to the doctor unless they are seriously sick. It is really surprizing. People's welfare and well-being are the things government's officials should mostly care about. But it isn't usually true. I wonder how could governments ignore such a huge problem? Shouldn't we be doing anything? I THINK people should and should do that worldwide. I understand that problems aren't so easy to be solved, but how can we even not do anything about them if people are dying only becuse they can't effort to go to the doctor."

Avian Flu
"We from Nigeria and our agriculture just dried up, so pour me some funding to fill up my cup; it is avian flu not the mad cow, so maybe we can cook these chickens and eat 'em too, the heat kills the virus so we might come through, solve this problem as quickly as possible, cause my brothers are dying and this is stoppable."
